Due to overwhelming interest, Mister Brisket has decided to extend this program for as long as it takes to provide each meal purchased to a veteran. We may be at this for weeks…even months! See Description below for more details. Thanks in advance for considering a purchase.
On Friday, March 15, Mister Brisket provided brown bag lunches for the residents and staff at the Heroes Harbor Hospice section of the Cleveland VA facility, generously donated by our amazing customers.
With Corned Beef for Vets each veteran and their caregivers will receive a Mister Brisket Corned Beef sandwich, chip and beverage. We saw this as an opportunity to show our appreciation to those who have given so much to this country on our behalf. Similar to Salamis to the Troops, we decided to offer a chance for our customers to participate in this activity.
Each Brown Bag lunch will contain a note of thanks along with the name of the giver. This way, the recipient will know that someone personally cared enough to buy them lunch in appreciation of their service. On a personal note, my father, Taub Kornblut, is a resident of Heroes Harbor. I have been impressed and touched by the care he has received at this late stage in his life.
