Mister Brisket - To Help Us Send Salamis to the Troops!

We feel the holiday season would be a great time for all of us to support the men and women of our Armed Forces.

One of our motivations is Cormac Chandler. The son of our customer, Max Chandler, Cormac serves as the Crew Chief aboard a Medivac Helicopter. Among his chief responsibilities is to evacuate wounded troops from battle situations.

When Max told us how much he'd like to send Cormac some of our fine meats, we began to think about what we could safely ship overseas. The obvious answer was salamis. It's delicious and doesn't spoil. Thus an idea was born to ship salamis to Cormac – and the rest of his unit in Kandahar, Afghanistan.

The first twenty are on us. The rest is up to you. Each of you is encouraged to send a salami as well. All salamis will be sent with a note of support and a supply of Cleveland's famous Stadium Mustard.

Sir or Ma'am,

First off, thank you very much for the salamis you sent me while I was overseas. I am a Marine (not a soldier) who spent 9 months training Afghan soldiers, and it was good to get some beef salami that we could share with our guys as pork would have been unacceptable to them. We were unable to keep all eight, but the snack we had on the one day was another great bonding moment with our Afghan soldiers.
I appreciate your efforts serve the troops, and I hope many more Marines get a chance to receive a package from you.

Thank You for the support, it is a great morale boost to recieve mail from back home. It reminds us why we fight, and how appreciative the people are who we fight for.

I wanted to expound on my original note to once again thank you and the sponsors for the Salami gifts. These were an enormous hit here. In fact, they became coveted and nearly had to ration them…ha-ha. Anyway, I hope to visit your establishment while on R&R and present you with a small token of our appreciation. We received 4 boxes from Mr. Brisket. Last night I sent one to North and one to the West. They traveled by Helicopter! These are already a huge hit. I will write more later, but wanted to advise you that they have arrived.

First I would like to take the time to say thank you very, very, very much for your support to the troops. I am a soldier with 4th BDE 10th MTN DIV in Fort Polk, LA. I know that when we recive things from people that we dont know and they send it just to show us their support it put a smile on my face and my soldiers faces. With that being said I would like to know how big a brisket can be, and if you can give me a price on how much that will cost for you to send it to us down here for a BBQ that we will be having for a going away party. One of my soldiers is leaving us to go to SF next month. We will be having another one for our deployment party and I would love to have a huge brisket and a few other meats. We love to have BBQ's and we are always looking for a bigger better brisket. Thank you for your time and your support.
